When age-old wisdom meets puppy training…
So last night we get home from work and notice that Chloe has chewed a hole in her brand new bed (the replacement bed for the first one she chewed up) and stuffing from the bed was strewn about all over the living room floor. We scolded her, of course, and then sat around talking to her about what she had done… trying to reason and explain to her why chewing on her bed ultimately only hurts her because then she won't have a nice soft spot to lie down during the day, etc. She's still wagging her tail at this point, proof-positive that she understands exactly what we're saying to her. Just then, Jesse yells, "You can't have your bed AND eat it, too!"

In my defense, it made perfect sense at the time.
OK I CANT STOP LAUGHING!!!!!!!
hee hee hee hee. Poor Chloe. She’s just happy you’re home talking to her! “BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH CHLOE BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH CHLOE…”
ha ha ha ha!!
I understand his frustration
Y’know, Kip, that makes me think of the episode of The Simpsons where they send Santa’s Little Helper to the obedience school. The view from the dog’s perspective? Yeah, it’s just like that.
