I'm going to declare this the best song of 2007.

It's like Freddie Mercury rose from the dead and anointed Mika his official successor. I'm totally stoked for the US release of his album on March 27th.

So I LOVE this song, but I have never SEEN him before and this is NOT what I pictured. At ALL.

  2. Jenn says:

Oh my gosh! I was totally thinking this sounds like queen. When are they coming to town?

  3. Jesse says:

When? More like if. He doesn’t even has his album out in the US yet and tour dates are VERY limited so far. Especially since he lives in the UK.

The very beginning sounds like someone is about to say, “I see a little silhouette of a man”. What a copycat.

  5. Kristi says:

    eerily similar voices. Wow!

  6. Sherpa says:

Wow, I’d be interested to hear the rest of the album to see if he’s aping Freddie on the rest of it. Cool song though.

  7. Jesse says:

Now that I’ve listened to the whole CD, I can say that there’s also a bit of Elton John with some faux retro 70s dance beats mixed in there. It’s just plain fun and I can’t wait for the US release so I can actually buy the thing.

  8. Mike says:

Love Today is very Bee Geesesque.

Is it lame that nearly every time I come to this page I click on this video just to hear that song again? It is just so stinking cool. Thanks for posting it.
