Sneak peek

We're not done yet. It's taking forever and we still don't have the ability to use the stove/oven or sink. But we just dropped the sink in tonight and doesn't it look so pretty with the counter top? My neighbor, Rick, was over tonight helping and described the sink as "hot". I'm not sure I've ever thought about a sink as being hot, but I do now. I love it a lot. We've spent way more money than we thought we would so far and we still have to pick out some tile to extend the backsplash and paint. But pretty good so far, eh?

I’m ooohing and awwing. I love it. I really really do! And that IS a hot sink! Weird.
It really is starting to look great. Congrats
That sink is dead sexy! I’m glad it’s starting to come together for you. I still have that cardboard if you wanna use it as the backsplash!
It makes me wanna dance.
ooh.. your counters look like my counters!
twin counter force powers — activate!
Ooooh! A counter top like that requires some posterboard in saucy colors for the blacksplash, not cardboard!
Well, there are quite a few back-to-school sales going on right now…
I can’t wait until you bring SEXY BACKsplash.
That sink IS very pretty. What’s it made of? I don’t think I’ve seen black sinks before, but now I want one.
It’s made of granite of all things. In theory, it’s supposed to be practically indestructible and impervious to damage unless you’re REALLY trying.
It’s awesome. Don’t ever invite me over if I come back to Utah, or I may steal it.
