As Overheard Tonight On the Way to the Hospital

Me: "I was really looking forward to eating dinner tonight"

Shauna: "If it makes you feel better, I haven't eaten either."

Me: "Why would that make me feel better? 'Oh boy, you're hungry too'?"

Stupid abdominal pains. More to follow later.

UPDATE: After getting home at 6AM, the doctor couldn't really say more than "here, have a Lortab".

Apparently, Lortab is the same as Vicotin. I didn’t realize that. So… it can make you feel better, but certainly not better than the morphine (that was the true dinner… and dessert… and post-meal cigarette all in one).
