Me: Can I still wear my polka dot dress even though I'm not pregnant?
Jesse: I don't see why not. I've seen non-pregnant women wearing polka dots plenty.
Me: I was wondering if I could wear the dress because it's a maternity dress, not because it's got polka dots.
Jesse: Oh.
