We Have Cold Air Again
After several months of wishing it was working, we finally had an electrician pay us a visit today to address our derelict swamp cooler. After about 45 minutes, he had it all wrapped up and good to go. The issue?
There was a loose wire. That's right, something the last guy could have fixed in just a few minutes Instead of displaying excellent customer service skills, it appears that the guys selected by the home warranty company are more concerned with finding ways out of fixing stuff so they can collect the basic service charge and run. I wish I could remember their name so I could trash-talk them further. On the other hand, Central Electric (the folks who came out today) did an exemplary job and even gave me some pointers on cleaning up the wiring in the attic if I were so inclined. (Note: I'm not.)
Thank goodness we don't have to spend any more days this summer sweating it out.

jerks. Not you. Them That's awesome you're cool again. I bet it sucks to not be cool, but we wouldn't know.
I would murder someone. Not just because of the heat. I was really just making idle conversation.
