It was bound to happen sooner or later.

We resisted as long as we could, but Jesse and I are now addicted to Lost.

Lost Rules

My mom came to visit and brought episodes of Lost on DVD for us to watch. We've only finished the first season so far, but we love it. We would have finished more of it if my mom hadn't brought all of the second season to our house EXCEPT the first disk. It's torture. It's good that we're getting to watch it on DVD though because I don't think I could handle all of the cliff hangers leading into commercials or worse… having to WAIT a week to watch the next episode.

I hope you can make it through season 2. I dropped out about 5 episodes in. It just got too lame for me. I heard the season 2 final episode was great though so if your willing to slog through the other episodes for that you should be rewarded.

Did you happen to catch Heroes last season? Much much better than Lost in my opinion.

Dirt and I have season 1 and 2 on DVD and would be happy to drop off that first disc of season 2 for you.

Also, we’ll be buying season 3 as soon as it comes out and we’d be happy to have a Lost party… πŸ™‚

Try waiting months for the next season!! It’s killing me. I’ve got to say, I almost lost interest in the beginning of season three, but the last half of the season really caught me again.

Heroes is one of the most amazing shows on TV and we’re eager for new episodes to start up again. It’s incredible that TV studios have been churning out such a large number of high-quality serials these days. Maybe they could clue in their friends in Hollywood.

Lost is a great show, my favorite show on TV these days. I didn’t get into it when it first came out because I just didn’t trust new shows to actually be good. How wrong of me! Now I wait patiently until January for the next season to start. The beautiful thing about the fourth season is that it will be 16 straight episodes without interruption. I look forward to that. πŸ™‚

I feel so proud. I feel like you just told me I have the smartest kids or the cleanest house or something like that. LOST is kind of mine.

Um, yeah. So we have your mom’s first disk of the second season at our house. Sorry.

  8. Shauna says:

Yeah. I kind of knew that. I’ve been resisting calling you guys to complain at you.

It’s all good now though. We watched the first episode of the second season last night. I could barely sleep. I think I dreamed about Lost, too, because then I woke up still thinking about it.

If it weren’t for all this WORKING nonsense, I’d be home right now finishing up the second season. πŸ™‚

Yeah, it eventually got to us too. It’s like chicken pox or something – sooner or later it’s bound to get you.

We still like Heroes better. My apologies to Sara if that makes you feel like your child is a Super Citizen, but not an honor student.

I think the surge in high quality serials is natural backlash from years of reality TV. For so long the networks didn’t need writers, just a camera crew and a 20 page waiver form. We the people have been craving unreality, and the writers have had a good 5-10 years to come up with the good stuff.

The show is amazing, the only thing I dont like is the wait between season 3 which ended in May and Season 4 which begins in February. You guys at least get to watch and only wait a little bit once you get season 3.

  11. Vanessa says:

Wait a minute. Season 4 doesn’t begin until FEBRUARY?????

Way to rain on everyone’s parade Jeremy!
