Caught in Annabelle's most recent whirlwind of destruction:

  • Her own collar/chewed in half
  • Chloe's collar/chewed in half
  • More of the rug which is already near death/ripped and chewed
  • Several used Kleenexes/chewed and ripped to bits
  • A sanding disc (used) with which I sand the nasty dead skin off my feet/licked, savored and chewed to bits
  • Our sanity and desire to get any more puppies no matter how cute they are/completely obliterated

All that destruction really wears her out:

Tuckered out from all the destruction

Oh, and here's a really cute picture of Felix. Because cute babies make it possible for me to not kill my dog.

Felix the cute

Wow!  Did this all happen while Jesse was gone.. or is this just an ongoing problem?  I have some of that bitter spray you put on stuff… it helped Jake to stop chewing. I also started giving him knee bones that he could chew on forever.  I figure if they are going to chew might as well give them something to chew on.  If you need some downtime… drop her over I work swings so I'm home all day except tue, thu, and friday when I go to work.  She can play with Jake and Daisy and give your furniture some recovery time 🙂

Oh no, all this happened while we were watching the season finale of Heroes. We were both home. And she's been chewing on rawhides all day long. She's really got no excuse.

Careful with your offer. I may not come back to pick her up.

That dog is so darn cute.  I love beagles!!  But with the cuteness comes the chewing, the digging, the howling, oh my.  I learned this the hard way from Max, my half-beagle, half-border collie.  I didn't realize all dogs weren't as restrained as Ms. Perfect Xena the Amazing.  Max is better now though about chewing and digging, if not howling. Good luck!  You certainly need it.

That sounds way too familiar. Shauna often calls Chloe "the perfect child" because despite a few incidents of digging and the occasional destroyed pajamas, Chloe was relatively trouble-free.

  5. Wow.  She's draining your resources *extra* fast.  ; ) (Also:  CUTE baby.)

Where did you get this picture? I have the same red shirt and my son has the same set of clothes…. the couches even match!!!

  7. Shauna says:

We took this picture at your house of course. While you and your son were peacefully sleeping and unaware.

Strange! Since my house is on a military base! May the Lord bless you and yours. Have a wonderful day.
